i'm insung cho, sung for short. i study computer science at the university of hong kong and build software for people on the side. born in korea, grew up between korea and china.

• second year of computer science at hku.
• spending this semester at hku's shanghai campus.
• still freelancing, mostly apps and automation for small businesses in korea.

• went to chung nam samsung academy in korea, then finished high school at tianjin international school in china.
• moved to hong kong in 2025 for hku.
• openly gay, came out in 2025.

• freelance developer since 2025, 200+ projects shipped, under the name neoworks.
• web apps, windows tools, chatbots, internal tools, whatever the job needs. some of it is on the portfolio page.
• usual stack: typescript, next.js, react, prisma, postgresql, and python when a windows app is needed.
• i automate a lot of my own life too. my notes, schedule and todos mostly keep themselves up to date.
